May 25, 2022This set gets everything right! From the amazing Aloy minifig with transparent circle in her hairpiece representing her activated focus, to the vivid details of the oval baseplate landscape, to the clever use of space allowing this set to feel grand vertically but still fitting in the small corner of my desk.
The build process is refreshingly enjoyable and unlike any other LEGO set I can think of. The interlocking plates of the Tallneck’s neck look stunning. This set does contain some stickers (not an outrageous amount) but these are used to great effect to achieve a detailed result unattainable with simply brick-building.
The Tallneck feet lock into the baseplate for a secure connection and although you can quite easily detach the Tallneck from the baseplate, this is definitely not a play-set as the legs have limited playability and poses as the knees do not bend. It aims to be a fun - detailed display set and achieves this incredibly well.
This is a set I think anyone can enjoy but especially if you’re a fan of the Horizon games or just machines/creatures in general.
I am greatly anticipating the future of LEGO PlayStation and would love to see The Last of Us and Ghost of Tsushima make their way to LEGO form. I can happily say that LEGO you knocked it out of the park with this one!
Great Product!

September 30, 2024As a great fan of the Horizon franchise, I bought this set the second it was released. It is such a great build and provides much satisfaction when watching the Tallneck come to life. I totally recommend you purchase it before it's gone. Note: builders must be aware of the many times the instructions will require you to flip whatever you are building. Make sure you compare all steps to the manual and make sure they appear the same. Thank you, Lego, for developing such a great set!

January 19, 2023The setup is very nice. Lights are very bright and I love the colours. It is well though out and works pretty well. Instructions are very well done, but I did fought with the neck lights a bit. It requires correct orientation of 1x2 pieces and correct twisting of the wiring, which i did not understood from the manual on the first try. They are logicaly put, but it took me while to figure out and because of a intentionally "short wires" (they have no extra length, which makes them more invisible) you have to get it 100% right. When i turned them wrong side up I almost snapped the wiring. So be carefull. Other than that. Super fun build a beatifull outcome.
Amazing set! Although just one thing

November 24, 2023This is possibly the best looking LEGO set I ever bought, and I wish they made more Horizon themed sets. There is only one slight drawback to it: stickers. This is the first set I've bought in 10 years as a bit of a throwback, and I was really surprised that they still include stickers instead of printing on pieces. There is also a small detail: one of the stickers, in the instructions and on the box, is placed backwards, if you compare to the in-game model. You'd never realize it if you don't know, but I stumbled across a forum post on this and verified it myself. Apart from the inconvenience of stickers, this is a perfect set and I highly recommend it.
