great support! might need to size up due to narrow shoe box

June 14, 2024TLDR: i’m typically a 6.5-7 and went with a 7.5. pros: they’re comfortable right out of the box & very supportive, feels like they are molded to my feet. cons: the laces might be a bit short & the toe box is on the narrow side, not good for wide feet
my left foot is a true 6.5 with normal width, my right foot is not yet a 7 & a bit wider than my left. with that said, i tried sizes 6.5, 7, and 7.5 and ultimately decided to go with a 7.5.
6.5 was too tight, my longest toe was hitting the edge of the shoe while standing in them without walking around. 7 seemed to fit at first try, until i walked around and my toe was hitting the edge of the shoe with every step i took since the toe box is narrower at the top.
due to the way my feet position themselves while walking/running, 7.5 provides my feet with the most comfort, with no part of the shoe impeding my toes or pinching anything. the shoes were supportive, absorbing the impact of my every step & providing me with great comfort. there were no break in period & they were immediately comfortable. some reviews have mentioned the shorter laces & that is something i noticed as well, though it’s not a dealbreaker since you can always switch them out. the heel also seems a bit short, with potential for your feet to slip out if not tied properly or sized properly. i would suggest to try these on in store before buying to ensure they are comfy enough for your needs.
Super trendy, super comfy

April 20, 2024I am in love with these shoes! I got the black pair, and I find that they are super practical, very comfortable, and extremely versatile. I appreciate that these can easily go with jeans for more of a retro-streetwear style, or with leggings and a sweatshirt for a cute comfy outfit. I got the 7.5, though I generally range from 7 to 7.5, and these fit me perfectly. Since I have kind of wide feet in the toe area, I generally need shoes with a large toe box, and these definitely fit the bill without seeming too clunky. They're a really good level of "chunky" for my taste, without making it seem like I have clown feet. I did think that it I had to break them in a bit, but after approximately a mile or two of walking around in them they conformed to my feet really well. I also really loved the shiny accents mixed in with the mesh for a really retro look, as I find that it gives them a bit of personality. I would say that as someone who definitely relies on a lot of mileage in my shoes (I walk around a lot) they're great. That said, I would not attempt to run in these. They are definitely more of a streetwear / casual wear than actual running shoes (despite the name, which is slightly misleading).

April 9, 2024These Nike V2K Run shoes are very stable and keep my feet in place while I am running and walking. They fit true to size, however they did feel a bit snug around the middle part of my foot. I think for someone with wider feet you may need to size up. The Nike V2K Run shoes are also comfy to wear for long periods of time. The bottom of the shoes make them very versatile to be able to wear during different types of daily activities. They have good grip and structure for every type of physical activity. Overall, the design is slick and well constructed. However, I felt that the shoelaces were too short and would have liked longer laces. The fabric was high quality and the mesh made for a very breathable and airy shoe. What I liked most about these shoes was that they were very light and comfortable to wear all day. They provided good support and structure allowing my feet to be pain free at the end of the day. I would change the shoelace length to be longer if I could, and personally, I did not love the color of the shoe. I don’t typically go for an all black shoe, so maybe adding some more white to the shoe would make the design stand out more.
Cross training or casual wear

April 16, 2024These shoes def have an updated “dad” shoe vibe! I love that they’re made using recycled materials. The metallic detail looks good in contrast with the mesh parts of the shoe. I wear these shoes for cross training workouts (think treadmill and floor exercises), because they aren’t overly supportive. I have trouble finding good cross training shoes, because I want something supportive enough to run in but not something that is going to interfere with exercises on the floor like squats or lunges. These shoes are extremely lightweight without feeling cheap. Honestly one of my favorite things is that they have very good traction! I also use these shoes for a day with a lot of walking. They would totally work for a casual look, too. Just beware that like a lot of Nike’s, they’re pretty narrow. I don’t have wide feet, so they work well for me… I don’t know how comfortable they would be if you wore super thick socks. The tongue doesn’t move around a lot, and the laces are puffy and short. I see how they could be hard for someone to tie. While I like black shoes for working out, I think the other color ways would look very trendy for street wear!
