Best ride, traction, predicability, wet or dry
markem· Review provided by samsclub.com · February 21, 2023
I bought these after a friend who has worked in the retail tire business for years recommended them to me. I was going to buy Michelin Cross Climate 2s but he said these are better. They are on a late model Toyota Camry.

I have had top of the line Michelin, Goodyear, BF Goodrich, Dunlop, and General tires on my vehicles.

These ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus tires have excellent starting, stopping, and cornering traction, wet or dry. We drive twisty mountain roads every day and these tires make it easy to drive the mountain curves, from tightening radius turns to 180s. They have two ply sidewalls which make the tires more predictable when initiating and following a curve.

A poorly implemented two ply sidewall can cause ride harshness over bumps but these Contis absorb road irregularities better than any tire I've had on my car. When I first had these put on the car, I was looking for manhole covers, potholes, and expansion joints to see if anything would be transmitted but none had the jarring effect that other tires exhibit.

Usually tires that have good traction have some bad noise characteristics in a range of speeds or over some surfaces; these tires are quiet over all but a very worn asphalt road, and even then it's just a little increase in noise.

These tires improved my Camry in a way that I didn't think possible. They are excellent tires.
The best tire you can buy

I don’t know why people care for the Michelin A/S4’s. If you want dry performance just get summer tires and switch to winters. If you can have/want only one set. These have always been the best tire you can possibly buy. Nothing comes close to them.
These are incredible in the NYC area. Nothing beats this in all weather. The grip during monsoon rain is ridiculous too.
Even if they potentially lasted less than other tires in the category. Why would you even bother when its performance seriously eats every other all season tire alive…
I’ve ran from summer tires to these back and forth through the years. With switching into all the various random cheapo to Michelins. Nothing gave me better satisfaction than them being cheaper/similarly priced vs. the rest. What a the cherry on top.
Tires excellent so far, BUT…service policy SUCKS.

Tires are excellent. BUT…that is a big BUT!

Sam’s has an appointment policy. My appointment was at 4PM and they did not dive my car into the bay until 4:51. To make a loooong story short I did not get out of there until 6:31PM.

This is not to demean the hard working people there. They were not sitting down doing nothing. They were understaffed. If you are going to have an appointment based tire service stick to a narrow window OR call the customer ahead of time. You had to know your 4 o’clock appointment would be 51 minutes late!

To have someone schedule their time and waste it is unforgivable. So if you are going to get tires at Sam”s I would suggest calling to see how far behind they are.

The will not call you apparently!

Audi B8.5 S4: These tires are great! Great grip in all conditions and perfect for people who do not want to switch tires for winter. The tire indicators D W S (Dry -Wet - Snow) will disappear once the tire is no longer optimal for that condition. With regular tire rotations I still have all 3 indicators prominently showing.
Blackciecles.ca had a great price for these Ultra High Performance All Season tires and the tire date code was within the year which was a great surprise. They also came really quickly. Great overall experience and I have recommended blackcircles.ca to my friends.
