I am beyond grateful to have been able to receive this Keurig Duo in exchange for my honest opinion... So here it goes. First and foremost, I love that this has the option for iced coffee. I especially love that there is room for a taller cup on the single serve side- because of that, I no longer have to brew my coffee in a mug and then pour over ice. I'm now able to just put my cup with ice under it and brew. I also really like that the buttons are now front facing, rather than on top. Another feature of this that I like much better than my previous Keurig Duo is the placement of the filter basket. It is so much easier to get in and out now by simply lifting the top and picking it up and putting it back in, whereas before you had to line it perfectly and slide it in.

Now on to the things that I was not a fan of. I was a little disappointed when I went to place this new Keurig on top of my K-Cup holder drawer. Because of the design of the front of the Keurig Duo, the single serve side stuck out slightly past the front of my drawer and also had it slightly off balance because of that. For that reason I chose to no longer use my drawer and I will have to look for something else to store my K-Cups. I also was a bit disappointed that my previous reusable K-Cups no longer worked for this model. I had to go out and buy another one in order to use my ground coffee for my single serve side. Minor cosmetic issues, but definitely not a deal breaker.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with this.

This is a super neat all-in-one coffee monster machine! I go through months of only drinking hot coffee then only drinking cold coffee in the mornings..The hot I always brewed in my favorite Full Size K(something) brewer I've had for years but it always took too long to make iced coffee in old brewer so then id often buy coffee several times a week and be mad at myself for falling for the "coffee price scam". Lol. This machine makes single cup hot and single portion iced coffee in about a minute (boiling time included). If you need more coffee, you can brew a whole pot. The reservoir is 72 oz which is amazing. The only thing that wasn't my favorite was the large size (and that does not take away from the machine awesomeness it is just my personal problem). You need at least 17 inches height of counter for it to open freely and it is about 14 inches wide. It weighs about 10 pounds. If you rock the "tiny living" situation or plan to move in to your grandpas 70s van for the road life, this may not be for you .But if you are a coffee lover and want to impress your guests and be the breakfast rockstar then this machine WILL tickle all your fancies. I could also see it being a really awesome "upgrade on a budget" to a small employee break room etc... P.S. Keurig also sent 3 boxes of coffee to try or rather one hot, one iced and then a tea and they were great*--Thank you for that! Loved the iced tea

I will start off by saying I absolutely love having a 2 in one coffee pot. I can make a whole pot or make just a single cup. It brews over ice as well which is great for iced coffees and drinks! I was super pumped to receive this due to the fact it was a 2 in 1!! It’s perfect for just us two in the mornings or if my kids would like a tea or a refresher! It’s super easy for kids to use as well. You can program it to start brewing automatically in the morning which is great for early morning people. It has a setting for extra hot and one for strong coffee. The filter holder is nice and deep, allowing for as little or as much coffee as you’d like to put in. The biggest issue I have with the pot is that when you select 6/8 cups etc, it makes more. Tried to brew a full pot and it over filled the pot. We’ve tried adding water only to the 12 line on the reservoir to brew a full 12 cups, but it then doesn’t brew 12 because there’s not enough water in it. We have done everything correctly, read over everything that came in the box to try and figure it out but no matter what we try, we can not get it to brew the amount we select which is kind of frustrating. I would think I could fill the reservoir to the max line to be able to make a pot with as many cups as I’d like and even be able to make a single cup here or there without having to worry about the pot itself overflowing or making more then let’s say the 4 cups that I selected. Any tips on what to try for that would be very much so appreciated!! The single cup brew part I love. I love an iced coffee occasionally or the refresher k cups! I purchased a keurig iced coffee cup years ago, but unfortunately without a removable base it does not fit. I’ve attached a photo. I can hold it at an angle and it’ll work but I prefer to be able to set my cup down, start the brew and go about what I was doing. So I will have to look into a new cup that will fit! Overall, I do love the keurig. The pot doesn’t spill when I pour a cup. I love the look of it on our counter! We still need to remodel our kitchen and no matter how we remodel it, the sleek black look and design of this duo coffee pot will go well! I am going to keep trying different ways to try and get it to brew the amount of cups we selected for the carafe part!

This K-dou coffee make does a pretty good pot of coffee. That said, it also does a decent single cup. As long as you get a decent pod of coffee. It came with McDonald's pods, and I am not a fan. The Dunkin brand was included as well, and it's just meh. They also included a green flavored tea that lacks flavor. I've found for pods that the Kirkland brands are a great value and taste quite well. For the maker, it has an auto brew function that works only for the pot coffee. I'd like to have seen it function for pods as well on days that I don't need a full pot. Additionally, my previous maker would keep the carafe warm up to 4 hours (adjustable), I think this one only stays warm for a couple hours, and there's no way to change it. It does not include a filter for the drip coffee, but you can find the paper filters just about anywhere . The reusable screen filters are also fairly cheap and found in many places. The location of the water tank in the back is convenient if you have counter space that isn't covered by cabinets. I can't imagine it's easily filled if you have the machine under cabinets. I located mine at the corner of the counter, backed up to the bar so I could remove the lid and fill it from the side without obstructions. All in all, it's not 5 star quality, but it gets the job done and makes a decent coffee.
